Terms of Use — Incog Radio
Last updated: 13 August 2026 · Operator: MN Labs Ltd (UK)
Agreement
By using Incog Radio (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Contact: michael@mnlabs.uk.
What the Service is
Private crew push-to-talk and short messaging for small teams. Online rooms run on our servers; local boat / field mode can connect devices on a local network without using public radio spectrum or Marine VHF.
Accounts
You choose a callsign / display name. We do not require a traditional email/password account for core use. You are responsible for who you share room codes with and for activity under your callsign on your device.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or harmful activity.
- Do not attempt to break into rooms, abuse APIs, or disrupt other users.
- Do not present Incog Radio as emergency services, Marine VHF, or a safety system.
Safety disclaimer
Incog Radio is a convenience tool for private crew talk. It is not a substitute for 999, coastguard, Marine VHF, or any licensed emergency or navigation radio. You remain responsible for safe operations at sea, on site, or elsewhere.
Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Online features need a network connection; local mode depends on your devices and environment.
Intellectual property
Incog Radio branding, design, and software are owned by MN Labs Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as allowed by the platform stores or our written permission.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, MN Labs Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make relying solely on the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable).
Privacy
See our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
